Presentation for the Muji hand mixer
On the topic of a brand refresh, we were assigned a brand and an object to design for them in 2025. Parl was assigned the brand Muji and had to design a mixer. There are many ways to interpret what a mixer could be, from a regular stand mixer to a frother, but after careful consideration, Park chose the less complex route which was to remake their hand mixer. There were a lot of visible issues with the current product and plenty of room for improvement, so she was able to go into this project with the mindset of coming up with a refreshing design that aids the existing problems. The packaging design was added to the project mid-project, but it was a fun journey of imagining certain strides Muji would take to step up from their current packaging situation.
